A great lunch spot serving delicious dishes with organic local ingredients. The owner family grows a lot of their own ingredients and there are photo displays showing their family's farming stories which are very interesting! Highly recommended!

Perfectly cosy cafe with a friendly lady owner. The cafe is large and homely. We relaxed here on a sunny day with two iced coffees (black, but you can add your own milk, syrup and it comes with a brown sugar candy), and the kind lady served us chocolate cake. Although we had a language barrier, she was really friendly and asked where we came from and said our teddy bear was kawaii!!! That totally made my day I saw on the menu that they also serve lunch, would recommend a try (we already had lunch) as it seems like the produce is grown by the owner himself. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my lunch here. Very friendly people own and run this restaurant, using only either home grown or locally sourced ingredients. Everything was delicious and quite different from other food I’ve had during my time in Japan. The tempura batter was so good! My brother-in-law liked it so much he even ate the decorative leaf some of the food was placed on. The owner and his family even came out to wave us goodbye when we left. Highly recommend this little gem of a place if you’re ever in or near Sakurajima.

LOVE this cosy little cafe! I had their one plate lunch and it was absolutely wonderful. Filled with a variety of local, organic vegetables and all delicious! Their other lunch offering is a slightly spicy curry plate with tempura vegetables. The super sweet lady owner also gave us a free plate of biwa (loquat) while we waited. I also bought their special chiffon cake made with radish leaf powder!

Was in urgent need of a caffeine fix so stopped here. They only have black coffee (no latte) but it was good and came with brown sugar sweets. Radish chiffon cake was also nice, light and d fluffy. Owner was also very kind and gave us complimentary green tea and dorayaki for my three kids who did not order anything. Do drop by!
